A person, not a checklist.
Start with what matters to you, what you can bring and what is getting in the way. Agree a goal that is meaningful to you.
People. Potential. Progress.
Practical support towards work starts with understanding you.
We’re developing JIREH Mentor to bring skilled human guidance and useful technology together—helping people find a way forward that fits their goals, strengths and circumstances.
A person-led approach to employment support.
Small steps. Real possibilities.

Explore one opportunity that connects with your interests and strengths.
Yes, I’d like to start with my interests.
Progress can take different routes.
A manageable step based on the interests and support preferences you chose.
You chose practical tasks, a phone check-in and time to prepare. You can change any of these.
Your mentor can review this with you.Suggestions support your choices. You and your mentor decide what happens next.
JIREH Mentor is planned to use FullSpektrum’s FS:One technology framework alongside support from a named human mentor.
The proposed platform would bring together participants’ agreed goals, useful preferences and next steps with mentor reviews. This could help people pick up where they left off, adapt an action when circumstances change and spend less time repeating information.
Participants would be able to review and correct their information. Optional digital suggestions would support practical actions and conversations; mentors would remain responsible for reviewing suggestions and agreeing appropriate support.
We plan to test clearer instructions, manageable steps and flexible pacing with participants. Paper, telephone and in-person support would remain available.
The integration is planned and funding-dependent. It is not yet live; development and participant testing will determine which features are suitable for use.
Tech-enabled support,
powered by skilled human guidance.
Our approach
Wanting to work and knowing where to start can be very different things. Health, confidence, access and changing circumstances can make the next step harder. We want support to respond to the person.
Start with what matters to you, what you can bring and what is getting in the way. Agree a goal that is meaningful to you.
Turn a goal into practical steps. Explore skills, prepare for opportunities and review progress with a mentor.
Keep useful planning information, discuss adjustments and agree how to return after a pause or a change of service.

Useful tools, with a person alongside you.
The proposed pilot is for disabled people and people with long-term health conditions, aged 16 and over, who are not in paid work and need support with employment-related steps.
We’re planning individual mentoring, practical preparation and flexible ways to take part. Digital support would be optional, alongside paper, telephone and in-person routes.
Your questions answeredWe want to explore referrals with colleges, supported accommodation providers, employment services and community organisations.
The proposed model would complement existing support. Eligibility, capacity, safeguarding and information-sharing arrangements would be agreed before referrals begin.

Designed around participation
We’re designing the offer with plain language, practical adjustments and supported alternatives to digital tools. People should be able to discuss what works for them without repeatedly telling their whole story.
Participant feedback is intended to shape the materials and delivery. These design sessions are planned, rather than completed research.
